Sysmex Australia has worked hard during the pandemic. Since spring last year we have distributed masks to our customers and business partners, in winter this year we are collecting essentials in a food drive initiative and this summer we promoted blood donations to help those in need during the pandemic. At Sysmex Australia, we care about making a difference.

Hunger has affected 1 in 5 Australians in the last 12 months.  To our great dismay, 267,000 of these Australians are just children. With charities doing their absolute best to help these in need Australians Sysmex thought we could give a helping hand. Foodbank, our selected charity has distributed 42 million kilos of food and groceries this year. With just a 50 cent donation Foodbank is able to provide someone in need with a meal and every donation of a dollar allows them to distribute $6 of food and groceries to other charities and schools. Sysmex has been providing educational webinars to interested parties and existing customers. The webinars are on the outstanding fully automated urinalysis system Sysmex provides pathology centers around the world. As a gesture of our appreciation, Sysmex has also donated $5 for all surveyed participants to the children’s starlight foundation. Over a series of webinars, Sysmex can happily announce a donation of $420 to this valuable cause.
